An Exciting New Opportunity at MikeLemonCasting

    CHILDREN'S SUMMER WORKSHOP

At the request of many parents and agents, we have created a special summer program designed to develop the confidence, audition techniques, and on camera skills of children ages 8 through 12. This workshop is designed for children who
are self motivated, have solid reading skills, self discipline and the desire to learn more about auditioning for and acting in commercials, Industrials and feature films.  The workshop will also include discussion of appropriate behavior at an audition and on set and work on developing the voice to diminish regionalisms and bad vocal habits.

On the final day of the workshop, students will experience a one on one mock
audition with an MLC casting director. The auditions will be taped for parents to
see during the final hour of the class.  This final activity will also include pointers for parents of young talent.

… what the terms availability, booked, hold and first refusal mean?

… how to prepare for and conduct yourself during an audition?

… which unions cover which parts of the trade; how and when does one join the union(s)?  Is membership required to get work?

Space is limited to 10 people.
Don't miss out on jobs because you lack teleprompter and ear-prompter expertise.
