COURSE OUTLINE
1. "Cultivating Intuition" - How do you perceive your world? How do you receive information? We will explore your preferential sense and open your avenues of perception.
2. "Traveling" - We will explore viable options for character development utilizing traveling techniques into alternate states of the conscious/unconscious allowing the characters to form you, not you forming the characters.
3. "Paying Attention" - strengthening students' powers of observation, concentration and imagination.
4. "Reading" - how we perceive others on an energetic level by assessing perceived levels of resistance and flow - utilizing ALL of our senses.
5. "Paradigms" - we will explode/implode existing paradigms (belief systems). Enhancing and expanding creativity and imagination.
6. "Listening" - listen to fellow actors with all of who you are, not just your ears.
7. "Locking" -instant recall - learning how to instantaneously "lock" into the predetermined mind, feelings, emotions, expressions and background of your character(s).

It is hoped that by the end of this class that students will have a new awareness of their world and the worlds they have produced by their acting and that they will have developed the control and confidence to approach any character, in any format (film/tv/theatre), in a truly personal and in-depth manner.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Scott A. Evans, N.D., CNHP, CST, - an accomplished actor/singer/songwriter/audio engineer/casting director/craniosacral therapist and Doctor of Naturopathy has formally trained in the Meisner Technique and other standardized acting methodology for TV/Film/Theatre. Scott has a unique and extensive background in body/mind therapies working in the field of Somatic Therapies and Energy Based Healing Methods for many years. As the creator of Cultivating Intuition for actors, Scott seamlessly blends his experiential life's/souls work into a wondrous transformational experience for the actor. The methodology within which Scott works can be taken and applied to all aspects of the actor's life.
