If YOU ARE AN ACTOR or aspiring actor and want to GET ON FILE for WORK
at MLC, the one way to do it is come to our OPEN CALL!

2009 SUMMER OPEN CALL DATES: [June 3 CANCELLED], July 15, August 12
Due to scheduling the July and August open call dates have been moved.

MikeLemonCasting will be returning to our open door, open call procedure.  This means we will be seeing and evaluating all types of talent, regardless of experience. There is no need to call for a reservation. Our open call is held on the first Wednesday of every month from 2-4 PM

Talent will be seen in to order of arrival between 2-4 PM (1-3pm on days noted above). There is no need to come any earlier, as talent will not be allowed into the building until open call begins.  Also, if you have not signed in by 4:00PM (3pm on days noted above), you will not be seen.

  • Please have a 1-2 minute monologue prepared. The monologue should be from a published play or screenplay. No poems, "Gettysburg Addresses," etc. please.
  • If you wish to be considered for commercial work only, commercial copy will be provided for those who have a professional headshot and resume.
  • Before arrival you must fill out our Full Talent Application Form.
  • If you do not have professional pictures, resumes, a prepared monologue, or practical experience, please don't let that stop you. You can fill out the Extra Only Application and you will still be seen at open call in a group setting where you will be given information on how to prepare for an open call and what we here at MLC look for in our talent. Your picture will be placed in our "extras' only" file. It's then up to you to take the next steps, gather the necessary materials and prepare for the next open call in order to be seen privately by one of our casting directors.
  • We do not see any children or teens under age 18 at our open calls. Teens 13-17 are seen at our Teen Open Call. For Teen Open Call (ages 13-17) :::Click Here:::
  • Children under 13 are only seen by an appointment made through an agent or manager.
  • Actors with professional representation may also contact their respective agents for an appointment time for another day.

Based on our needs, your type, and the quality of your read, you'll be put on file either for
principal auditions or for extra work. You will be given a 'report card' telling you how you're
being filed with instructions and suggestions for the future.

All talent please note:
Most bookings in the tri-state area are usually inaccessible to public transportation.
You must be able to provide your own transportation to your bookings.

Come on in!  We'd love to see  you!  And break a leg!
