Synopsis: It's a short film called Service, and almost the entire film takes place in a restaurant kitchen. Jeff is so in love with Angela, who is married to George, that he doesn't notice that
Stephanie has feelings for him.
Breakdown: All roles are open to any ethnicity.
JEFF(22)(Lead)- Jeff is a young line cook. He is a confident young lined cook, so kitchen experience is a good thing.
ANGELA (40)- Tall attractive restaurant owner. She is a charming, ambitious business woman who has what it takes to run an upscale successful restaurant.
GEORGE (50)- Big, on the fat side. George
is the strong but silent type, when he speaks, he speaks with a type of comedic wisdom.
STEPHANIE (20)- Attractive, intelligent, attentive.

Synopsis: A man who is unsatisfied with his life dramatically fakes his own death in order to start anew. Despite finding friends and a good life he is so burdened by the guilt of his actions it
destroys the new relationships that he has formed.

timid to irate, while having a generally likeable personality. Must be clean-shaven.

The story: A day in the life of a 12 year old boy, as he endeavors to find a girl who has left a love note for him. Through this, he has to undergo another banal day in middle school enduring pop
quizzes, falling asleep in class and getting caps snatched by the Hat Lady.
Roles:
Bobby, Male, age 12-13, any ethnicity. A shy, but charming boy. Bobby's looks small and timid, but he has a lot of character. He doesn't talk out of turn purposefully, but tends to allow his
stream of consciousness to slip from time to time.
Hat Lady, Female, age 60-70, any ethnicity. She's belligerent, persistent and her stern look is intimidating.
Jenny, Jenn and Jennifer. Females, age 12-13, any ethnicity. These are the girls Bobby suspects to be his admirer. They differ in personality and appearance, but they all have the attention of Bobby.
Teachers. Males and Females, ages 30 – 50, any ethnicity. Various Teachers are need throughout the film as extras and with lines.

The Winter Tour
Description/ Synopsis: 20 minutes, Color, 16mm, Fiction
The short film "The Winter Tour" portrays the struggle of a stand-up comic/ entertainer to rebuild his career. Lenny (30-45) leaves his house and wife in order to repeat the tour that made
him successful 15 years ago. His wife Harriet (20-35) follows him as long as he performs in their nearby cities. She visits him in the afternoons and then drives back to their hometown where she
works for the Port Authority. During this journey both Lenny and Harriet face dramatic incidents that force them to take decisions ("should I imperil my longing in order to help another person?" is
one of Lenny's dilemmas). When he returns home after an unsuccessful come-back tour, Lenny and Harriet decide to live together in more disagreeable but sincere terms.
Characters: Harriet
, (Lead) Female, Caucasian, 20-35 yrs old: an introvert woman who gets disturbed by any kind of consternation in her life. Lenny's departure causes her to re-act (visit him in all the
different cities), something she never done before.

Synopsis:
A dysfunctional Jewish family must first break in order to connect after the grandfather of the family passes. Takes place while they're clearing out his house.
Breakdown:
Role 1: Sharon Yakitz, Harley's Aunt, 40-45, Jewish/Caucasian, comes off as rude and confident but has baggage deep down.
Role 2:
Dana Yakitz, 20-25, Jewish/Caucasian. A spoiled if intelligent Jewish princess seen as a socialite.
Role 3:
Harry Yakitz, Male, 12-15, Jewish/Caucasian. A mischievous younger cousin who's never dealt with death.
Role 4:
Alex, 12-15, Jewish/Caucasian. Another cousin and Harry's partner in crime. Think Thing 1 and Thing 2.
Role 5:
Rabbi Stern, 50-70, Jewish, a good kind man who looks like he's been working too hard his whole life.

We're taking this project very seriously but we know how to have fun. Our crew may is like a family but is in no way as dysfunctional but as the one in this story!
